Hello friends of the Bay Paddle!

First and foremost, thank you for your support. We’ve raised over $60k before we’ve even started! An amazing accomplishment and a great reminder to all of us working hard behind the scenes to make this happen.

We’ve come a long way since first announcing the Paddle in late February. Supporters like you and others in our community have really rallied behind this crazy idea.

Flying Dog has a big Bay Paddle announcement coming soon. Salt Life is producing an exclusive Bay Paddle t-shirt that they will sell nationwide with all proceeds going to Oyster Recovery Partnership.

GoPro, NK Sports, Red Paddle Company and Starboard SUP have joined the team and are outfitting me with the best products during my training and the 200+ mile paddle as well as donating products for auction and giveaways.

Laird Hamilton (legendary big wave surfer and paddleboarder) posted about us on his Facebook page. Local legend Travis Pastrana sent us a shout out video. And we’ve been featured on local news in Baltimore, DC, Richmond and VA Beach!

We’ve also had some great corporate partners join our team.

The Popovich Financial Group, Riparius Construction, Marriner Marketing, Chesapeake Corporate Advisors, Royal Farms, Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company, Division 9 Associates, GMC Contractors, Mike Duvall from Foster Thomas, Tradepoint Atlantic, and Milford Marchant Jr., M.D. all made generous donations and we can’t thank them enough for their support.

We’re always looking for more corporate partners and are happy to promote and support their businesses.

We have a long way to go and you can continue to help by promoting the Paddle on Facebook and letting your friends know that a simple, $10 donation helps plant 1,000 oysters and enters them into a raffle to win a custom wrapped paddle board from Flying Dog Brewery!

Want to know what it takes to train for a 9-day, 200+ mile adventure; including IV infusions and dry needling? Look out for our next update...

Thanks again for your support!
